40 Small Dogs Rescued from Unhealthy Conditions Available to Adopt TOMORROW!
Kennel cards will be printed on color stock at all six LA Animal Services Centers to highlight these dogs.
Los Angeles, August 6, 2019 – Tomorrow, August 7, 40 small dogs that were recovered by LA Animal Services from unhealthy conditions will be available for the public to adopt. All 40 have been bathed and groomed, courtesy of Paula Kent Meehan’s The Pet Care Foundation, and the dogs have been divided between our six locations. To help these small furry friends stand out, their kennel cards will be printed on color stock so that interested adopters may identify them easily while visiting our centers.
“All the dogs were absolutely the sweetest and most loving dogs. They all did so spectacularly for their groom, and were total champs and love bugs the entire time,” says one of the groomers. “They were all much happier after they were shaved and washed!”
All dogs have been spayed or neutered, and their ages range from as young as 4-months-old, to 12-years-old with many more years of love to give left, with all of them weighing less than 20 pounds each due to their small breed sizes.
“We ask you to open your hearts and homes to give these lovable dogs a second chance at a better life,” says LA Animal Services General Manager, Brenda Barnette. “Seeing the transformation after these dogs have been groomed shows that compassion and love can turn the direst of situations into one of hope and joy. Now it’s your turn to help make a positive difference in the lives of these incredible dogs.”
LA Animal Services cannot comment yet on the ongoing investigation, however we look forward to these dogs finding good homes with loving families.
