Reduced Adoption Weekend

Los Angeles Animal Services Offers Reduced Adoption
Fees for Dogs at all Six L.A. City Animal Shelters

In hopes to find more homes for more wonderful pets, we’re offering half off our cat, dog, kitten, puppy and small critter adoption fees at all six LA Animal Services Centers this Saturday, August 11th through Sunday, August 12th.

LA Animal Services pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. While the dog adoption fees are reduced, there will be a $20 dog license fee applied for LA City residents. Small critters (guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, reptiles and more) will be reduced as well with adoption fees starting at $8.50. Adopters will need to provide a valid government issued identification card when adopting. To view all of our adoptable pets, please visit: laanimalservices.com/adopt/finding-a-companion

Potential foster volunteers can print out the LA Animal Services foster application available online (laanimalservices.com/foster) or visit one of six animal services centers and ask for a Foster Volunteer Application. Foster applications can only be accepted in person during regular work hours at the animal shelter they would like to foster from. You must also provide a government issued identification card and proof of rabies vaccinations for dogs currently in their care. Please apply and begin fostering as soon as possible as we expect to see an influx of lost pets starting this weekend.

We are are open Tuesday through Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm and Sunday 11 am to 5 pm. We are closed on Mondays and the Fourth of July. To find the center nearest you, visit laanimalservices.com/shelter-locator or call (888) 452-7381.
