Los Angeles, February 25, 2020 – It’s World Spay Day, and LA Animal Services makes it easy for pet owners to spay or neuter their pets. With the Print-at-Home option, your free or reduced cost spay/neuter vouchers will be available to you within minutes. Simply go online, complete the application, and your free or reduced cost spay/neuter vouchers will be emailed directly to your mailbox. Each voucher features its own distinct individual bar code, and is ready to be used when bringing your companion animal in for spaying and neutering.
“In the City of Los Angeles, it’s the law to spay and neuter your dogs and cats, after the age of four months, so the Print-at-Home option makes it easy for Angelenos to receive one of these vouchers,” said Brenda Barnette, General Manager for LA Animal Services.
Vouchers may be printed at home and then brought into the nearest animal service center or participating veterinary hospitals, spay/neuter clinics and mobile spay/neuter clinics.
The free Spay & Neuter Certificates/Vouchers and discount Spay & Neuter Coupons are available online for Los Angeles City residents, or are available for pick one up at any of our six LA City Animal Services Centers. Each household is eligible for discounts for up to three dogs and three cats per household. Feral cats and stray dogs do not qualify for this program.
