Finds New Homes for 76 Older Dogs
Los Angeles, September 6, 2019 – On August 17th and 18th the Paula Kent Meehan Pet Care Foundation (PCF) promoted another spectacular pet adoption event at all 6 LA City Animal Services Centers. This event was especially geared to help find homes for animals five years and older – seniors. 76 senior dogs found new homes of their own. Cats were free that weekend due to the Clear the Shelters event sponsored by NBC.

The mission of Paula Kent Meehan’s The Pet Care Foundation (PCF) is to assist in the reuniting of lost pets with their owners/guardians and assist with the placement of homeless/shelter animals. We assist with the implementation of pet licensing and micro-chipping; provide educational programs to promote the understanding of animals including care and training. We improve the health of animals and healing of the disabled or ill in home or medical environments. We provide grooming services to homeless/shelter pets enhancing the adoption process.
